The BBC Riding Club is for anyone who likes to ride, or would like to learn. Horse riding is a great way to unwind after work, meet new people and do something very physical which is also mentally absorbing. Plus you get a whole lot fitter without even trying.
We can offer the cheapest and best range of riding in London, no question!
Our club night is every Thursday at Trent Park stables, North London, where we have lessons for different levels from complete beginner to advanced with a max group size of 8, or 6 for beginners and jump lessons. We have the stables to ourselves, therefore the schools are never crowded. The horses and facilities (two large indoor schools, large outdoor arena, cross-country course and off-road hacking) are excellent. Lessons run at 7.30 and 8.30pm and cover both flatwork and jumping, including cross-country in summer. We have our own clubroom where members can meet before and after riding for a chat and refreshments.
Location: Trent Park Equestrian Centre London N14 4XS (5 mins walk from Oakwood station on Piccadilly Line). www.trentpark.com
We have negotiated an excellent rate for our lessons at Trent Park of £19.50 per hour – significantly below their usual rate.
We also run social events, weekend riding breaks, monthly hacks in Windsor Great Park for experienced riders, riding holidays abroad and trips to equestrian events like Badminton and Olympia.
We're a friendly club that welcomes new members, whether you are starting from scratch, can ride a bit already or are very experienced.
