Canal cruising is fun and easy to learn. Narrowboat life is friendly too – we like to think of the canal network as a linear village surrounded by flowers and trees, wildlife and of course plenty of pretty pubs along the way! ‘It’s as if your whole life slows down and you forget all about the city life’.
Why not hire out the narrowboat during the year and take friends and family as crew?
Facilities
Our narrowboat is 61 feet long. ‘Savoy Hill’ sleeps 7 people in 3 separate cabins which can be configured as single or double berths. It has two flush toilets and a shower and is fully equipped with a microwave, conventional cooker, fridge, and central heating. The boat has LED lighting throughout, USB charging sockets, two televisions with built in DVD players and extra storage.

Bookings & Availability
Hire period: Saturday to Saturday. To allow for correct cleaning the boat must be returned by 9am. There is mooring available if guests prefer to return on Friday night.
Weekends, if free, are available as late bookings only. A 5% discount is applicable if 2 or more consecutive weeks are booked. Bookings open in January. The ‘Closed’ season where the boat is not available starts in November 2023. The first week of the 2024 season where the boat is available to hire is 2nd March 2024.
