After months of refurbishment work, BBC Club W1 @ Media Café opened its doors on Friday, 26 April, when Director-General Tim Davie reopened the Media Café .

We have the same great range of coffees and other hot and cold drinks including draft lagers and ales, a wide range of spirits and a new and expanded wine list.

As work continues in our kitchen, please bear with us as we gradually build our food offering to satisfy every appetite and pocket.

BBC Club, now in its centenary year, will continue to welcome members and BBC staff as well as audiences and visitors to the new space. Look out for details of our BBC Club Party in Summer 2024 to celebrate both the opening of our new Club and BBC Club’s 100th Birthday!

Media café will on occasion accommodate Radio Theatre audiences and host BBC events. BBC people will still be able to enjoy all that BBC Club has to offer at the same time in an exclusive separate area.

Joining the BBC Club is simple and gives you access to a whole world of exclusives…

Access for Retired and Alumni BBC Club Members.

While BBC ID pass holders can access the Media Café as usual, BBC Club retired and Alumni members will need to be issued with a BBC Club pass at LBH Reception on each visit. Please ensure that you have photo ID with you.

BBC Club Passes allow access to Media Café ONLY, and do not allow access to other locations in LBH.

In the rare event that BBC Security deem it necessary to close the Piazza or restrict access to LBH for any reason then access is not possible unless you have a BBC ID pass.

BBC Club members can sign in up to three guests per visit.
