    Snowsports

Whether you want to learn to ski or you are already a snow sports junkie our snowsports club is your ticket to the slopes.

    Activities

Using the excellent indoor slope at Hemel Hempstead, you can hit the slopes all year round. Apart from a mid-summer event, the majority of our activities take place between September and April, during which we organise monthly open practice sessions that are often combined with social sessions, as well as week-long practice trips to European skiing and snowboarding resorts.

    Courses

We run courses for beginners including introductory tasters, improvers and intermediates and advanced snow boarders. Click our events to see what we have coming up. Or if nothing suits contact us direct. Lessons can be arranged on request if there are a minimum of 4 people for either skiers or boarders.

    Library

There is a selection of snowsport related books, videos and CDs for lending to members.

    Training

We arrange practice sessions on artificial slopes, either snow or plastic, once a month on a Saturday evening. These sessions often include tuition for beginners and are competitively priced.  On occasions these events may include a 'tricks and tips' session for both improvers and/or intermediate skiers.  We also arrange subsidised courses usually taking place between October and December.

    Snow Technique Practice Trips

Every year the Club organises two trips to European locations, one in January and one in March, to practice skills and to enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the company of fellow enthusiasts.  All levels of ability are catered for.  As a Club member, you will get an advantageous discount off brochure prices,
