About
‘O beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, for purple mountain majesties, above the fruited plain…’ As the USA celebrates 250 years of independence, we’ll explore some of the bounty of their fruited plain ‘from sea to shining sea!’ - from the lakes of New York to the vineyards of Washington State. We’ll discover if a Californian merlot is better than depicted in the film Sideways, what’s so special about Oregon pinot noirs and we’ll travel back to the 19th century mid-west and enjoy an Old Fashioned cocktail.
