About
We are delighted to have the opportunity of offering this walk and talk with Estelle Lovatt, Art Historian, Critic and writer. Follow in Constable’s footsteps going back in time to about 250 years ago to see the house where he lived, worked and painted his great iconic landscape masterpieces on the Heath, Hampstead and around the London NW3 village finishing with his family tomb at the local church. Estelle describes the story of Constable’s life, his dislike of Turner and relationship with the Royal Academy. Bringing alive everything you wanted to know about Constable and how he painted nature, the best clouds, rays of sunshine & double rainbows in art history. Estell brings a portfolio of Constable’s paintings to show, discuss and illustrate where he painted them from. Both a cultural fix and a healthy walk!
