- What’s On
This is a 9 mile walk starting at 10.05am from Sole Street station in Kent passing through woods, fields, vineyards and country parks. It starts and ends with stretches of the Wealdway long distance path. From Sole Street we head north-west to Nash Street then to Ifield Court before cutting across to Jeskyns Community Woodland. From there we saunter into Cobham, a village having strong links with Charles Dickens, to have lunch in the Darnley Arms which is reputed to be 800 years old. Alternatively you can eat your own food in the churchyard almost opposite. After that we head towards Cobham Park and Woods then drop down to Henley Street before picking up the Wealdway back to Sole Street.
