Rambling Club - Harlington

The walk is located on the edge of the Chiltern Hills area. We begin at Harlington, and follow parts of the John Bunyan Way and Icknield Way. We will walk past the house where John Bunyan was sentenced for 12 years for preaching outside, and the John Bunyan Oak where he was preaching on our way round to climb to the crest of the Sharpenhoe Clappers hills for a stroll along the ridge with spectacular views. After lunch we will walk through Sundon Hills Country Park with more views on our way back to Harlington station.
