Rambling Club - LONDON LOOP 21 - Havering-atte-Bower to Harold Wood
About
The 21st section of the London Loop! A linear walk of approximately 7.5 miles starting at Havering Country Park, and walking through some lovely woods, fields and parklands to finish at Harold Wood station. The morning section has the potential to be very muddy and wet underfoot so walking boots or wellies are recommended. There are 3 stiles on the morning section of the walk and some uphill walking but nothing too strenuous. The afternoon section is mainly on tarmac paths through parklands and is flat.
If you only want to do either the morning or afternoon section of the walk it is possible to leave/join at the lunch stop at the Deer’s Rest Pub on Noak Hill Road, where you can catch the 294 bus to Romford Station. The morning section is approximately 4.5 miles long.
