As much as we would like everybody in the whole wide world to be a member, unfortunately this isn’t possible.
So the burning question is… are you eligible?
- If you work for the BBC as an employee or a contractor
- If you work for one of the BBC’s partners
- If you are a partner or family member of a BBC Club member
- If you are a BBC Alumni member with at least one year of continuous BBC employment
- If you have retired from the BBC
The Misbourne Valley (Amersham to Chalfont St Giles and back)
About
This circular ramble of around 8 miles starts at Amersham station and consists of moderate walking via paths and fields through and overlooking the valley of the River Misbourne with good views of the surrounding Chilterns countryside. There is one steepish descent/ascent between the station and Old Amersham at the beginning/end of the walk with a couple of modest ascents and descents on good paths on the morning section.
