In this one hour class, Estelle will begin showing a quick 5-10 minute illustrated art history talk about a few artworks by some of the art world’s greatest master artists.  From Da Vinci and Van Gogh to Turner, Picasso, Monet, Constable, Rembrandt,  Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin to name a few.

All inspiring, Estelle shows you how to make art and develop feelings and emotions that’ll help with through mindfulness of the Artist.  As when you are making an image you don’t have time to be anybody but Yourself.  So like Louise Bourgeois, “Tell your own story & you’ll be interesting!”

Estelle guides you with practical, hands-on sessions, using dry art materials, like pastels (which equals no mess!!).  Creating Figurative and Abstract art as you have fun looking at picture-making processes, context and resources of colour, composition, tonal values, form, shape, perspective, scale, texture, story-telling narrative, collage and….Learning how to play with art creating imaginative, surprisingly unpredictable and unexpected artworks to unlock your creative potential, making you the best artist you can be.  As Picasso said, “Don’t wait for inspiration, it only comes when you’re creating!”

“Try it, you’ll really like it!”
