Take some time out and join us for games and exercises designed to relax you and build your confidence using the fundamentals of Acting and Performing.
If you wish to practice your oral delivery, especially if you have never done this before, this is the workshop for you. Just bring your favourite prose or drama pieces along (need be no more than two minutes each) to say or read to the rest of us.
Each week we will build your skills so you learn some basic aspects of Acting. These will include where to put emphasis in a line, how to create variety in a piece with light and shade, posture, stance and projection.
The written or learnt pieces will just be tools to practice your skills on.
The workshop will also be a time to open up your imagination and play games with no limits, touching on the absurd. Each exercise however, does have its own set of rules, such as focussing on the positive, and avoiding melancholy aspects.
The course will be six sessions of learning and enhancing your skills with a performance from the group on the 7th session.

About my Course
Join my six-week yoga course, where we explore the joy of movement and breathwork!
In this flow-based practice, each session will dynamically guide you through a series of poses where we link breath and movement to stretch, strengthen and find balance.
Designed to accommodate all levels, my classes are laid-back, challenging and fun. I aim to create a space for my students to pause from everyday life, deepen their mind-body connection and leave feeling rejuvenated.
Everybody is welcome and I am beginner friendly. I believe there will be something for everybody.
